2014 Hottest Elight Hair Removal Machine/Hair Removal IPL
What is IPL
A broad spectrum of light is transmitted through a small, smooth, transparent handpiece which is gently placed over the skin. Cut-off filters in the handpiece change the wavelength range allowing it to be optimized for different applications and skin types. The light penetrates the tissue and is absorbed by either the blood when treating vascular lesions or the melanin when treating pigmented lesions damaging them. The body's natural processes then remove the injured tissue giving the skin a more even and youthful appearance.

FAQ
1. Does IPL work on darker skin for hair removal
IPL hair removal works best on light skin with dark hair. It focuses heat on the melanin in the hair and carries it into the follicle. It may either be ineffective or pose risk in areas with little contrast between skin and hair color. The test patch can help us decide if an area may suitable for IPL treatment.
2. Are there any side effect
The main side effects are mild, temporary swelling, redness, an accentuation of the brown spots, crusting, and an occasional bruise or small superficial blister (like a sunburn blister). There are rare other side effects
3. Is treatment painful
Some people describe it as a light tingling or stinging sensation as is usually no more painful than waxing or plucking a few hairs. The vast majority of people have no problems at all with the procedure. Some areas of the body are more sensitive than others and a topical anesthesia may be used to decrease the sensation further more.
